This session will explore strategies to implement the Pact, emphasizing governance, inclusivity, and innovation. Panelists will discuss collaboration, resource mobilization, and amplifying marginalized voices to ensure no one is left behind. Technology’s role in driving progress and the importance of monitoring outcomes will also be key themes.
Session 2.3 – Panel Discussion: Future-Ready: Youth the Global Digital Compact
Location: Sutton Sutton & Regent
The Global Digital Compact is a landmark document that will define how our modern society interacts with the questions of our time – how to globally govern digital technologies and artificial intelligence? Digital technologies hoped to bring populations together by sharing knowledge and a common humanity, but have instead led to a rise in polarisation. The impact of AI on digital natives in areas such as education and employment are considerable and novel. The Global Digital Compact is a state-led response to the unregulated domain of global digital policy, but what impact will it have on future generations? In this session, we will analyse the effectiveness of the GDC in tackling digital divides and youth engagement.
Session 3.3 – Panel Discussion: Action-Driven Advocacy: The Declaration for Future Generations
Location: Nassau West & East
The “Declaration for Future Generations” emphasizes the need for sustainable and equitable decision-making today to benefit tomorrow. It calls for intergenerational dialogue and policies that prioritize long-term well-being and planetary health. This session will explore advocacy strategies to promote the Declaration’s principles. Panelists will discuss fostering youth leadership, building cross-sector alliances, and creating actionable frameworks for sustainability. The focus will be on inspiring accountability and collective action to safeguard the future.
Session 4.3 – Training Session: Partner Power: Building Conference and Commercial Collaboration
Location: Sutton Centre
This session focuses on harnessing the power of partnerships to drive impactful conference outcomes and commercial success. Participants will explore strategies to identify, engage, and sustain meaningful collaborations with stakeholders. The discussion will emphasize leveraging mutual strengths, creating shared value, and fostering long-term alliances that benefit all parties involved.
Session 4.4 – Training Session: Next Level-Leadership, Skills for Organisers and SGs
Location: Sutton Centre
This session is designed to empower organizers and Secretaries-General (SGs) with advanced leadership skills essential for managing successful events. Participants will learn strategies for effective team coordination, decision-making under pressure, and fostering a positive and productive environment. The session will focus on practical tools and techniques to enhance leadership capabilities and drive impactful outcomes.
Session 5.3 – Panel Discussion: Making Online Shine, How Online MUNs are Thriving
Location: Online Only
Online Model United Nations (MUNs) have evolved into dynamic platforms for global engagement, enabling young leaders to collaborate across borders. These virtual spaces highlight resilience and innovation in global diplomacy education. This session will examine the success of online MUNs, focusing on their ability to foster inclusivity and accessibility. Led by experts in public speaking and negotiation, delegates will learn techniques to captivate audiences, project confidence, and convey ideas effectively. Through interactive exercises and tailored feedback, attendees will enhance their ability to communicate persuasively and respond dynamically in debates. Whether addressing a large audience or engaging in diplomatic dialogue, this training empowers participants to take center stage with poise and impact.

Session 2.4 – Interview: Africa Rising: From Passion to Progress in Youth Engagement
Location: Sutton Sutton & Regent
In this insightful discussion, we delve into the transformative power of youth engagement across Africa. Youth leaders and policymakers will share their journeys from passion to action, offering valuable insights on how young people are driving progress in their communities. The conversation will emphasize the importance of digital tools and global collaboration in empowering youth to create meaningful impact in Africa’s development.
Session 3.4 – Panel Discussion: Europe for Everyone: Connecting Citizens through Model EU
Location: Nassau West & East
Model EU is a celebration and criticism of how the EU institutions function, and an effective way of communicating EU decision-making to the public. In this session, we intend to explore the benefits of Model EU simulations to community education. Model EUs are held all across the European continent, and help define what it means to be European. Model EU simulations present a crossroads where cultures, history and languages intersect, combining knowledge to shape continental decisions. Equally so, this is a place where young people can articulate their own vision for Europe, as citizens, voters and future decision-makers. Is European decision-making too opaque and complex? How can European youth make their voices heard?
Session 4.5 – In-Person Workshop: Mobilizing for the Pact – Youth Driving Global Change
Location: Sutton Centre
This interactive workshop focuses on empowering youth to take a leading role in implementing the Pact for the Future. Participants will collaborate on actionable strategies to address global challenges, leveraging their creativity and advocacy skills. The workshop aims to build a network of motivated young changemakers committed to driving sustainable development and collective action.
Session 5.5 – Online Workshop: Mobilizing for the Pact – Youth Driving Global Change
Location: Online Only
This virtual workshop provides a platform for youth worldwide to collaborate on advancing the goals of the Pact for the Future. Similar to the in-person workshop participants will engage in discussions on best practices for advocacy, share success stories, and co-create innovative solutions. The session emphasizes the importance of digital tools in amplifying youth-led initiatives for global impact.
