MUNers Across Borders is a non profit organisation dedicated to supporting and improving Model United Nations worldwide and the engagement of international organisations

Founded and run by volunteers it works with youth organisations and international organisations to fulfill it’s three main goals:

  1. Bring all Models (UN, EU, African Union, etc.) together 
  2. Connect Youth to the International System
  3. Establish a Yearly Summit to do both these things together!

National Model United Nations (NMUN) is the world’s largest, most prestigious, most diverse, and oldest ongoing university-level Model UN.

Our Mission is to advance understanding of the UN and contemporary global issues through quality educational programs that emphasize collaboration and cooperative conflict resolution and prepare participants for active global citizenship. We envision a world comprised of civically engaged people who strive for peaceful, multilateral conflict resolution and equitable, sustainable human development.

We are a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Unfortunately we cannot sponsors visas or provide accommodation for the conference – in-person tickets are conditional to you being able to attend in New York on the 13th of April

The event is open to everyone, with a special encouragement to MUN participants, organizers, educators, youth activists, and anyone passionate about global governance, international relations, and youth engagement. 

The summit will be a hybrid event, with some sessions hosted in-person at the conference venue and others streamed online via Airmeet. Specific session formats and locations are listed in the agenda.

If you want to come in-person you can register by going to our eventbrite page and purchasing a ticket

To join online, you just have to register on Airmeet!

Yes there is a fee for the in-person ticket of $35 per ticket (with a discount of $25 if you buy an early bird ticket until the 1st of March)

Definitely! We encourage you to attend all the sessions you are interested in – and you are welcome to drop in and out of sessions across the day.

Yes they will! You can see recordings of last summit already on our Youtube and we will be recording and uploading all sessions of the 2025 as well 

The in-person Summit is in New York City, at the Hilton Midtown on the 2nd floor – with one session (the networking) taking place on the 4th floor.

No you do not – they will be collaborative workshops where we gather ideas together from all participants on different ideas relating to youth engagement of the Pact for the Future!

To access the online session – make sure to first register for a ticket for the Summit, and access www.airmeet.com and log in with the email that you used to register a ticket. You will also be sent an email with the link to join online. You don’t need to download an application but just join online. 

We would love to have you join and help out with the team on the day! Please reach out to philippe@worldmunday.com if you are interested!

Yes – we will provide certificates of participation to all people who join at least 1 full session across the day (either online or in-person). This certiciate can be used for any extra-curricular activity. It will be sent within 1 week of the Summit to your email that you registered for a ticket with
